On this page, you’ll find everything you need to know about the Rockwell Tri-Doctorate Program, including the curriculum, sample course content, professional designation, required textbooks, tuition and more.

The Rockwell Tri-Doctorate incorporates the depth of knowledge we would want our own holistic medicine practitioner to know in order to earn and retain our highest trust.

Students are responsible for purchasing their own required textbooks, just like at a regular university or community college, which can be used as desk references throughout their entire career. See the required textbook checklist for the RTD program below.

RTD Textbook Checklist

Three of our programs contain full coursework in aromatherapy, homeopathy, and iridology. They include the RTD, the TND, and the CHD. Our iridology program is IIPA (International Iridology Practitioners Association) approved and meets member qualifying requirements of Iridology I & II.

Students who complete the Rockwell Tri-Doctorate Program may use the following professional designations of (TND), for doctor of traditional naturopathy, or (CHHP) for certified holistic health professional/practitioner; (CHD) for doctor of clinical herbalism; (AHND), for a doctor of advanced holistic nutrition; and (SMEAD), for doctor of spiritual medicine and esoteric arts.

Traditional Naturopathy

Think of TNDs & CHHPS as specialists who learn a wide variety of alternative therapies and healing modalities that go far beyond what most people can even imagine. Unlike herbalists who work almost solely with herbs and botanical medicine, TNDs and CHHPs offer options outside of herbalism and nutrition.

Clinical Herbalism, Botanical Medicine, & Plant Energetics

CHDs learn everything about plant medicine, as well as mycology which is the study of fungi, like medicinal mushrooms. Their knowledge is anchored in the world of greenery right outside our door.

Advanced Holistic Nutrition

AHNDs focus almost exclusively on holistic nutrition and therapeutic diets. Their level of understanding of nutrition far exceeds that of the TNDs and the CHDs. Think of them as nutrition experts.

Are you ready to develop the skills you need to become an expert in your field? Our programs help prepare the most in-demand, highly qualified holistic medicine practitioners of our class and type in the world!

Students want a school they can be proud of and a name they can trust. That name is Rockwell. How can you tell if Rockwell is right for you?

Do you absolutely love the quality of our programs? Do you appreciate an immediate response to any concerns? Do you want your voice to be heard and your opinion to matter? Does Rockwell resonate with your ideas of what a holistic medicine school should be?

These are the biggest deciding factors for students who choose Rockwell.

SMEA stands for Spiritual Medicine & Esoteric Arts. We now include SMEA at no additional tuition cost when a student enrolls in the RTD. SMEA is represented by Module VI and is not required for completion of the RTD. Students are responsible for their own course materials. You can learn more about SMEA here.
