Are you wondering if there’s a ‘cure’ for shingles? Well this isn’t a cure, because viruses generally stay with us. At least that’s what science says. In any case, herpes and chickenpox are related to shingles. I feel this information will help all 3 issues.

So, shingles is a very serious illness. It comes from the varicella zoster virus, — a family of viruses which includes chickenpox, herpes simplex 1 & 2 or HSV-1 and HSV-2, also known as oral and genital herpes.

Most people don’t know that oral and genital herpes are interchangeable.

Even if you’re like me, and you’ve literally never had a single cold sore, you can still harbor this virus in your body from childhood chickenpox. Some people even carry HSV-1 or HSV-2, even without a cold sore or genital outbreak.

Supposedly 1 in 4 to 1 in 3 people carry this in their body.

If you’ve ever had strep throat, then you for sure have Epstein-Barr, or EBV. This is also an epidemic and a member of the varicella zoster family of viruses.

And while I’ve never had a cold sore, nor have I ever had strep throat or mononucleosis, and I mean ever, —I’ve watched everyone around me get both!

However, I didn’t get away ‘scott-free’. I actually had chickenpox 3 times in my life, —and it’s documented in photographs, no joke. While rare, it’s not impossible, even though everyone is absolutely convinced you only get it once. I wish!!!! I have the scars to prove it.

Now I hear you all out there thinking I ate junk food, etc, but I had a very traditional diet of meat, vegetables, and healthy starches, low to no sugar, etc.

In any case, if you have shingles, it sucks. So in this video I talk about what I personally do, because you see, I had my first 1-2 shingles this year (and god-willing, they were my last).

I have to say I was very scared, but it was gone within 4-6 days. How’d I do it? Well, first of all, every case is different.

I immediately did a 2 day protocol of echinacea, wherein I took ¼ of the bottle morning, evening, morning, evening. Of course, I start the dose, whatever time it is, and if it’s 6 or after, it’s an ‘evening’ dose.

If I get the tincture at 2 pm, I take a dose then and another before bed. That’s just how I roll. I’m talking about a 2 oz tincture. If you have a 4 oz bottle, and a more severe case, then perhaps I’d personally take it over a 4 day period and finish that bottle, as well.

You have to decide personally what’s right for you or your family, but that’s what I would do for sure. Echinachea isn’t the kind of herbal supplement one takes more than 2-4 days, generally speaking. It’s more of a targeted protocol, succinct and precise.

It revs up the immune system so check with your physician and check online to see if there’s any reason you shouldn’t take it. Do your research.

I detail more about my shingles experience in the video. I personally started the echinacea antiviral protocol, then applied topical antiviral almost around the clock.

Additionally, the rose absolute in carrier oil was the kiss that seemingly cured it ‘overnight’… or over ‘two’ nights. 🙂

It’s possible this won’t help you at all, but it sure worked wonders for me. My shingles disappeared, of which I believe I had two, on the right side of my body. For those of you who don’t know, shingles usually appear on one side of the body!

Keep your hands away from your eyes. It can get in your eyes and mess a person up! I just cotton pads for facial toners to put the oil on and let it set or just drop it on. Always wash your hands and don’t touch your eyes. Never pick at your shingles! It can cause scarring, spread, or delay healing.

Most people start immediate pharmaceutical antivirals. I would have had to do that if the natural remedies hadn’t worked and the problem had gotten out of control or worsened. I’m so happy and grateful this worked for me.

Keep in mind, I am not a licensed medical professional, and I can’t treat, diagnose, nor prescribe. I am a holistic health practitioner, and I can tell you what has worked for me.

What about you? What’s worked for your shingles experience?
